Ryan is an ABC certified prosthetist and orthotist. He started his career in the U.S. Air Force as an orthotist and then continued his training into prosthetics at Cal State Dominguez Hills Prosthetic Program.
Once certified, Ryan and his family relocated to the Phoenix, AZ area for a few years before returning back home to the Los Angeles area where he worked for a national company as a clinic manager. Over the course of his 14 year tenure with this company, he expanded his role to Area Clinic Manager overseeing multiple clinics.
In 2020 Ryan fulfilled a lifelong dream and made the leap into business ownership. He returned to Reseda Prosthetics and Orthotics, where he did his internship and residency, and partnered with longtime friend and mentor Jeff Vranesh under the name Empowered Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Ryan and his patients have been featured on several media outlets to include The Doctors, The History Channel, The Ellen Show and Good Morning America, to name a few. However, his proudest moment came when he had the opportunity to travel to Haiti in response to the devastating earthquake that took place in 2010 to provide prosthetic care.
Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, surfing and pretty much anything outdoors. He’s an avid sports fan and is devoted to all local L.A. teams.
