Ryan Russell, CPO

Ryan is an ABC certified prosthetist and orthotist. He started his career in the U.S. Air Force as an orthotist and then continued his training into prosthetics at Cal State Dominguez Hills Prosthetic Program.

Once certified, Ryan and his family relocated to the Phoenix, AZ area for a few years before returning back home to the Los Angeles area where he worked for a national company as a clinic manager. Over the course of his 14 year tenure with this company, he expanded his role to Area Clinic Manager overseeing multiple clinics.

In 2020 Ryan fulfilled a lifelong dream and made the leap into business ownership. He returned to Reseda Prosthetics and Orthotics, where he did his internship and residency, and partnered with longtime friend and mentor Jeff Vranesh under the name Empowered Prosthetics and Orthotics.

Ryan and his patients have been featured on several media outlets to include The Doctors, The History Channel, The Ellen Show and Good Morning America, to name a few. However, his proudest moment came when he had the opportunity to travel to Haiti in response to the devastating earthquake that took place in 2010 to provide prosthetic care.

Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, surfing and pretty much anything outdoors. He’s an avid sports fan and is devoted to all local L.A. teams.

Jeffrey Vranesh, CP

Jeff first got introduced to the field of O and P through his father-in-law Bill Peralta, owner of Glendale Prosthetics. After he completed the prosthetic program at UCLA and became ABC certified, he founded Reseda Prosthetics and Orthotics in 1978.

Jeff built his practice over the last 40+ years on an undying loyalty to his patients and dedication to the craftsmanship and artistry involved in every device. His unique approach has led him to become a highly sought after clinician in the industry, particularly for the more complicated cases.

Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, especially his 3 grandkids, cycling, woodworking and poker.

Missy Russell

Missy has worked in the medical field for several years prior to joining Empowered P and O. She has been involved in various aspects of patient care to include, front office, back office, medical assisting and billing. She has a natural ability to make instant connections with our patients that make them feel comfortable throughout the entire process.

Missy enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and the beach.

Araceli Jamison

Araceli has been working in the O & P field for over 18 years. During this time, she has worked in every administrative role imaginable. Her favorite role is working the front desk as it allows her the ability to interact directly with our patients and get to know them on a personal level, helping them with insurance issues and hearing their inspirational stories.

Araceli likes to watch documentaries about historical events and true crime stories. She is very family oriented and believes family is one of the most important things in her life. She likes to go on walks with her dogs, Ethel and Molly, both of whom are rescue dogs. She looks forward to her annual family vacations with her 3 daughters and her parents.

Dat Le

Dat has worked as an orthotic and prosthetic technician for more than 40 years. He began his career in Seattle prior to joining Reseda Prosthetics in 1988. He is involved in all aspects of the fabrication process and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.

Dat is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing golf, tennis and basketball.

Anthony Russell, CFO

Anthony is involved in several aspects of the business. He is an ABC certified orthotic fitter, an orthotic / prosthetic technician, and our inventory manager. You could say he is our ultimate utility player.

Anthony is a self-proclaimed nerd and enjoys gaming, Star Wars and football. His favorite team is the Philadelphia Eagles.

Marvin Martinez

Marvin joins our team as our patient liaison. As an amputee himself, he provides a wealth of knowledge and experience to our patients. His ability to connect with our patients and guide them through the process of living with limb loss is invaluable to their success.

Marvin is a proud U.S. Marine veteran. He was enlisted from 2011 to 2016 as an infantry machine gunner and was honorably discharged as a Corporal. He enjoys cycling, hiking, weight training and spending time with his two dogs.

Linda Browning

Linda has worked in the O & P field for 5 years and in customer service for 15+ years. She worked for Anthem BlueCross as a customer service representative, a high end portraiture studio in Westlake Village and wedding coordinator for her church, and many other customer service-related jobs over the years.

Linda's favorite part of the job is our patients. She loves getting to know them and their stories, making them feel welcomed and comfortable. She enjoys helping with insurance, questions and making the whole experience as smooth and worry free for the patients as possible. 

Linda has been married for 40 years and has 2 grown children, 2 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Family, church, and friends are a large part of her life. She enjoys cooking, baking, teaching cooking classes and tripts to disneyland. She loves to entertain and help her friends with their parties and get togethers. Linda has published 1 cook book and is working on cookbook number 2. 

Shaeleigh Russell

Shaeleigh graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2023 with a bachelors degree in business and marketing. She is involved in the administrative side of the business helping with insurance verification along with being the lead of our social media marketing.

She is very outgoing and will talk for hours if you let her. Shaeleigh enjoys traveling, reading, and anything to do with sunshine and a body of water.

Gaby Bueno

Gabby has worked in customer service for 6 years. While working in the financial industry, she was introduced to the O&P field, where she quickly found a passion for her role as patient coordinator. She enjoys interactions with patients and knowing that she is part of a team that is helping them and their needs.

In her free time, Gaby likes listening to music, spending time with family, traveling with her husband and giving attention to her cats.
