The Empowered Story…
Officially founded in 2019, the story of Empowered Prosthetics and Orthotics goes back more than 40 years when Jeff Vranesh founded Reseda Prosthetics and Orthotics after completing his education and training at UCLA. Jeff quickly grew Reseda P&O into a thriving, patient-focused practice that continues to treat several patients from those early days.
In 2001 Ryan Russell joined Jeff as an intern while attending Cal State Dominguez Hills Prosthetic Program, and then later completed his prosthetic residency under Jeff’s tutelage. Jeff and Ryan remained close friends and colleagues over the years and in 2020, decided to join forces once again and partnered together to align Reseda P&O with Empowered P&O.
Empowered Prosthetics and Orthotics builds on the traditions of compassionate patient care and individual craftsmanship of Reseda P&O along with a commitment to deploying the most advanced technology available today to design and create truly custom devices to EMPOWER our patients to perform their best.
Why Empowered?
We chose the name empowered because we feel it embodies what we do for our patients. Our patients come to us with a wide array of physical challenges and we fully recognize how difficult the process can be in order to return to their activities of daily living and lifestyle. Our goal is to be there every step of the way to ensure that our device is designed and maintained for the most optimal performance for the patient’s unique needs. Through our dedication to clinical care, customer service and device construction, we EMPOWER our patients to do the work.
